Students in science have been learning all about what a scientist does and the different types of scientists. All students have drawn themselves as a scientist for our collaborative classroom display.

Over the last few weeks, we have launched our learning on space by exploring our prior knowledge about day and night (Grade 3/4) and the planets in our solar system (Grade 5/6). We also celebrated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science by learning about the many women who have contributed to our scientific knowledge and understanding of Earth and Space science.
