From the Principal

Open Mornings

Thank you all parents and caregivers that attended our classroom open mornings on Monday and Friday of this week. It was wonderful to see so many families take up the opportunity to visit their child's classroom and connect with their teacher. A big thank you also to Team Kids for providing a complimentary coffee van on both days. We will continue to explore opportunities for parents to come onsite and support the amazing learning taking place.

2023 Pupil Free Days

The Department of Education provides school with four pupil free days each year to focus on various aspects of school improvement (e.g. staff professional learning, strategic planning and assessment and reporting). The first day of the school year is a student-free day (state-wide), and the three additional pupil-free days are scheduled by the school council.

The next Curriculum Day will be held on Monday 1 May (confirmed through school council in 2022). The remaining two days will be confirmed at the upcoming school council meeting on 22 February. There will be also an additional pupil-free day for a whole staff Professional Practice Day. All confirmed dates will be shared in our newsletter ASAP. Please be advised that there will be no further pupil free days this term.
