Department of Education and Training Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) Applications

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund helps eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

If you have a valid means-tested concession card, such as a Veterans Affairs Gold Card, Centrelink Health Care Card, or Pensioner Concession Card, or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible. There is also a special consideration category for asylum seeker and refugee families.

Payment amounts this year are $125 for eligible primary school students. Payments are made direct to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions, and sporting activities for the benefit of your child.

If you applied for CSEF through our school last year, you do not need to complete an application form this year, unless there has been a change in your family circumstances such as a change of custody, change of name, concession card number, or new siblings commencing at the school in 2023.

If you would like to apply for the first time, or have any further questions, please speak to the office staff.

Parent Payments

Thank you to all the parents who have finalised, or commenced paying, their child’s/children’s school levies for 2023.  The School Levies payment enable us to continue to offer programs across the school to enhance the learning of all students. It also covers all the student’s stationery, Art, Performing Arts and LOTE supplies for the year, as well as enabling us to be able to provide and upkeep our Ipads and laptops across the school.

Parent payments are posted on Compass and can be paid through the Compass portal or, alternatively, through the school bank account, BPAY or by coming into the office and paying via cash or EFT.

Student Absences/Attendance

If your child is unwell it is recommended to keep them home from school until they recover.

The school expects children to be punctual and attend regularly. If your child is absent from school, we ask that you record the absence on Compass or contact the school. If no absence has been recorded on Compass or we have not heard from you by 9.30am on the day of absence, we will contact you to confirm your child is with you. If your child is late to school, they must report to the office to be given a late pass.

If your family is going on a family holiday, please advise your child's teacher prior to the trip taking place, as well as updating on the Compass App.
