This award goes to Jesse for his fantastic attitude towards his learning. Jesse has loved reading his Good Fit books and practising identifying which vowel sound he can hear in writing. He completes tasks with a smile on his face and a positive attitude. Keep up the great work!

This award goes to Hayden for the perseverance he has demonstrated in PONT Maths this week. Hayden has been learning many new skills such as using the split strategy and solving long multiplication problems. Hayden has tried his best with every task and if his answer was incorrect he revised the steps and process he followed until he found where he had made an error. What a fantastic attitude to have to your learning Hayden!

I was particularly impressed with the efforts you put into your narrative writing this week, editing it until it was right. Ethan is to be celebrated for completing three very interesting introduction examples in writing this week. Students were asked to follow author Anh Do’s introduction style, which Ethan was successful in doing. His use of descriptive language really helped engage the reader. Well done, Ethan! I look forward to reading the rest of your narrative.

This award goes to Logan for his kind, caring and thoughtful nature. Over the last few weeks, Logan has demonstrated on many occasions that he thinks of others. He offers to help people when they are in need and if he finds a piece of property left outside, he is eager to make sure it is returned to the right person. You are wonderful Logan!
