Calrossy Junior School

We have had a fantastic start to the year. Our students are calm where they need to be calm, energetic where they need energy, focused when they need to be focused and having fun! The swimming carnival was a great demonstration of this, and I am so thankful for the efforts of many to make it a successful day. The kids were amazing! It is great to

see everyone participating and having a go.

The results are as follows:

  1. Nicholls
  2. Cuthbert
  3. Sheean
  4. Hamlin

How to foster hope in your children: Use hopeful language in your daily conversations, like “You can”, “You've got what this takes”, “You're ready for this”. Help your child think up ideas for getting past problems. Avoid the temptation to try to solve their problems. Ask questions that foster their own thinking.

1 Peter 1:13 “Therefore, once you have your minds ready for action and you are thinking clearly, place your hope completely on the grace that will be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed.”

Have a great week.
