Pastoral Program and Events

Angelique Phillip-Kemp - Pastoral Program and Events Coordinator

In Week 3 of this Term, the Year 7’s enjoyed a three-day camp at ADANAC Camp in Yarra Junction. It was a great opportunity for our newest students to make new friends, get to know their new teachers and experience exciting new things. Some of the activities enjoyed over the three days included archery, canoeing, flying fox, waterslides and jumping towers, and indoor rock-climbing.

In addition to the wonderful camp activities, the students participated in a liturgy run by Eamonn Farrelly, reflecting the annual College theme “Known and Loved”. Students also enjoyed a trivia night and a visit to the local swimming pool. The staff at camp ADANAC ran a whole group activity called Scramball – better known as organised chaos!

I hope that all the Year 7 students enjoyed their time at camp. I also sincerely thank the staff that attended who made the experience so memorable for the students. Thanks to Sue Keel, Teagan Yates, Anna Nguyen, Eamonn Farrelly, Mark Alexander, Nathan Yap, Joe Sirianni, Aaron Bailey, Emily Cuciniello, Erin Halloran, Annaliese Leon and Melody Jumpponen for their incredible efforts on the camp.
