On Wednesday, we welcomed 15 visiting students to Myrniong for the 2022 VIBE. The students joined Prep to Year Five classes for a day of Music, Art, P.E, STEM, I.T and mindfulness-based activities. A good time was had by all. Our Year Six students ventured to the Middle Years Positive Education Centre at the Senior School for a day of activities. Year Six Pacer Payment

To assist parents with the financial outlay of the Year 5/6 Canberra excursion, the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate (PACER) is an initiative of the Australian Government which provides some financial assistance for students in Year 4-12 across Australia to travel to Canberra. To qualify, schools must be located at least 150 kilometres from Canberra. Rebates are paid on a sliding scale. Based on Hamilton's distance from Canberra, we have applied for Junior School families to receive the maximum $48.00 rebate. To qualify, our itinerary had to include visits to Parliament House, the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House and/or the National Electoral Education Centre.
