If not me, who? If not now, when?

I was thrilled to see the genuine interest in our VIBE Taster Day after a three year hiatus.  There were many new faces on campus yesterday and our dynamic and inclusive community ensured all our visiting families were made to feel welcome.  I was very proud to see the boys, girls and staff demonstrate such pride in our core College values and the fabulous activities on offer were so engaging.   In the minds of many guests, we really consolidated our reputation as an aspirational, regional community where everyone is known, valued, and challenged.

Earlier in the week, Mandy Nagorcka and Zoe Price were unanimously elected P&F President and Vice President at the recent AGM. Mandy and Zoe join Sarah Baker (Secretary) and Stacy Balkin (Treasurer) to form the Executive.  I sincerely thank outgoing President, Keri Ross and Vice President, Megan Mould for their outstanding contribution over the past three years.  The P&F’s next meeting is Tuesday 26 July at 6.00pm in the Zachariah Room.

Tomorrow, Friday 24 June is a casual clothes day to support our good friends at Maree’s Royal Flying Doctor Service.  A gold coin donation is most welcome.  At recess, Year 10 will hold a cake stall while at lunch, they will run a sausage sizzle at very reasonable prices.  Please encourage your children to join in!

I wish all families a restful and enjoyable break. Next term Mr Carroll and Mrs Ogle commence their respective Long Service Leave breaks and we wish them well in their travels.
