In Prep we have finished our dribbling and bounce unit. This week they have started a new unit on kicking. Students have been using different balls to assist them with their development (soft balls and also soccer balls). Our prep students have continued learning and playing various minor warm up game’s such as ‘Sharky, Sharky’ and ‘Everyones it Tag’.

Our Grade one two’s, threes and fours have finished their unit on two handed hitting. This week they have started a new unit on one handed striking. Students have continued learning new warm up games such as ’Level up’.

Our grade five and sixes have started a new unit on soccer / kicking. Students have been practicing various drills which incorporate the skills of soccer such as passing, trapping, shooting, dribbling as well as ball manipulation.

We had our District athletics carnival on Tuesday the 9th of August. Students did an amazing job and lots of students have advanced to the next stage. Well done to all students who came and participated.

Dear Saltwater community,

I am running a marathon in October in honour of my cousin who passed away in April. Please take a moment to read my page and if you are able to donate even a small amount that would be greatly appreciated.
