St Simon's eSports Competition

Starting this week St Simons will be starting an ongoing esports competition!
You might be asking yourself what esports are? Esports, short for "electronic sports," are competitive video gaming events played by individuals or teams.
Just like traditional sports like football, basketball, or soccer, esports involve players competing against each other to win games and championships. However, instead of physical activities on a field, esports take place in virtual worlds through video games on computers, consoles, or other gaming devices.
At St Simon’s we will be having our Grade 5 and 6’s competing against each other in a range of games starting with Mario Kart. Students will be able to compete against each other in the STEM and movement rooms during the first half of lunch on Wednesday's. If you’d like to be involved please see your classroom teacher or Mr Fitz or Mrs Menere! Good luck players
