Book Week 2023 (August 21st - 25th)

This year we welcome children’s author Felice Arena to St Simon the Apostle on Friday 18th August 2023.

Felice has written many books over the years including the 

‘Specky Magee’ football series which he co-wrote with Gary Lyons. He has also written the EPIC Historic Adventures series, The Unstoppable Flying Flanagan, Fearless Frederick, The Boy and The Spy to mention just a few.

Felice’s latest Picture Story Book ‘Pasta’ has recently been published.

Felice’s visit will ‘kick off’ our Book Week celebrations which will take place in Week 7!!

Our Book Week Parade will be held on Friday 25th August.

Weather permitting, we will line up on the basketball court to showcase our costumes. 

All students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character for a day!!

We will have the music ready to dance around the court for everyone to see!!
