Ms Fiona Scullion

Assistant Principal

It was lovely to see all the students return to school last Monday after a fun filled holiday break. As I visited the classrooms, many students told me about their travels, recounted the movies that they saw and the play dates they had with their friends. Many also mentioned that they were happy to be back at school with their teachers and friends.

Term 3 is going to be another busy term, filled with learning and exciting events. On Friday, we will welcome our precious grandparents into our school for a special assembly liturgy, followed by open classrooms and a morning tea to show these important people in our children’s lives how loved they are.

The relationship between grandparents and grandchildren is like no other. While grandparents provide care, wisdom and affection to their grandchildren, they also experience joy and fulfilment from being actively involved in their lives. It is important to cherish and nurture these intergenerational connections whenever possible and we look forward to welcoming all our grandparents to our school on Friday.

Curriculum Overviews for each grade will be released to parents on Friday. Please take the time to read through the curriculum areas that your child will be focused on this term. Important dates for the term will be included in the overview.

A gentle reminder that if you have any questions or concerns, your child’s classroom teacher is your first point of contact. If an issue is more serious in nature, please feel free to contact myself or Grace via email or phone.

Looking forward to another wonderful term.

Kind Regards

Fiona Scullion
