School Council

New School Mural 

As you may have read on Compass, Friday is a free dress day to raise money for our new School Mural. 

While we weren’t successful in the Maroondah Council Arts Grant for a new school mural, we were so excited that local artist Tara Cull has offered to discount her price for the artwork.

All donations are very much appreciated and any donation over $50 will be recognized on the plaque next to the artwork – please feel free to send a gold coin along with your child on Friday or alternatively, make a donation into the school bank account.

Playground update

Work is underway in the background for our new playground at the front – we are hoping it will be open in early Term 4, and we look forward to welcoming Michael Sukkar MP and the Rotary Club of Maroondah to officially open it. 

Principal recruitment update

The recruitment for a new substantive Principal for Marlborough Primary School is underway and I thank you for your patience as we go through this process. 

Voluntary parent payment reminder

A gentle reminder to any families that have not made their voluntary parent payments – it’s not too late to do so!! 

Within our school these voluntary contributions have allowed us to organise and coordinate the best possible programs outside of the traditional teaching and learning classroom structure. 

These financial contributions assist us with the purchasing of art, science and physical education equipment and resources, to purchase robotics resources such as the BeeBots and Spheros and invest in decodable books that support our whole school Science of Reading literacy approach.
