Youth Crew Program

On Tuesday 18th July 13 of our CFA Youth Crew students travelled to Tallangatta to conduct day 3 of their 2023 training.  Training consisted of water drafting (getting water from the river to the truck), OHS training, confined spaces smoke training and ended the day with an experiment with what happens when you add the wrong fire extinguisher with the wrong type of fire.  The fires above show what happens when you add water to an oil fire/cooking fire.  Thank you Jake F for participating in this experiment.  The final day for our 2nd year students will be conducted later in this term.  At that date they will receive their full certificate and will be ready to join their local CFA.
