Last week we had a visit by Dan Seymour on behalf of our local Dederang Mount Beauty Football Netball Club and a donation of a box of footballs and netballs. These will be a great addition to our school sports equipment and encouragement to our students to get out there and give it a go. Thank you Bombers! Awesome community spirit!

Our school ties with our local community were also strengthened last week by our Youth Crew Program who had the opportunity to travel to Tallangatta for training.  This important program couldn't have happened without the ongoing generous support of the Community Bank Mount Beauty & District - thank you.

This week our downhill students are up-top today having a blue-bird ski day (not jealous down here much at all....😩) and it looks like just-as-good weather tomorrow for our xc ski students.

Tomorrow morning at 9am we will have a representative from Bogong Outdoor School here to answer any questions from students or parents about our upcoming Year 9 Future Makers Camp.  See the future makers page for more details.

Staff are busy organising the important annual senior school expo and info evening which is on this Wednesday.  See the expo page for more details on this and we hope to see parents here at 7pm on Wednesday night for the info evening.  Also - students in years 10 and 11 - don't forget to book in for a one-on-one career and subject advice interview with Jo Macklan throughout week's 3, 4 and 5!

There are lot of opportunities available to students at this time of year - please see our careers page and community news page for more details.  This week there is a new opportunity for current year 11 students who have a drive to find solutions to problems or are curious and interested in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics - check out the info on the national youth science forum in our careers page.

We welcome Mel Ivone, social worker with Alpine Health, who is available for student appointments.  See our wellbeing page for more details.

Thank you to all those who sold/bought raffle tickets or donated to our gift hampers.  We raised $835 to go towards much-needed new appliances for our caf.
