Message from our Campus Principal

Cleo Lazaris

Welcome back to what we hope will be a school year that resembles something more ‘normal.’

In addition to our 80 or so new Year 7 students, we also have several new students joining us in Years 8 to 10.  A warm welcome to you all!

Although there were some nerves and uncertainty for some, the year has kicked off with a positive start and everyone has settled into the rhythm and routine of school.

We have several new staff joining us at Churchill Campus this year.

  • Chuning Li joins the Year 9 team and is teaching Chinese Language and Maths.
  • Nathaniel Isacs joins the Year 8 team teaching PE and Health.
  • Todd Miller is leading the Year 10 Team and joins us from University Campus teaching Drama, Media and English.
  • Jordan Melhuish is an English and Humanities teacher who joins us from Morwell Campus
  • Paul Zepackic – an English and Humanities teacher who joins the Year 10 team and comes from Morwell Campus
  • Amala Ramasamy – also from Morwell Campus, teaching English and Humanities and joins the Year 8 team

YEAR LEVEL TEAMS

Churchill Campus has a team structure to support students with their academic and social growth.  The team is led by a Team Leader who is supported by a team of staff who predominantly teach students in that year level.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the relevant team leader:

Year 7 – Darren Campbell

Year 8 – Karen Anders

Year 9 – Glen Stephenson

Year 10 – Todd Miller

WELLBEING and ADVOCATE

Our student welfare consisting of Selena Gray working together with our advocates; Tom Kindellan, Paula Woodland, , Robin Fitzpatrick, Harry Owens and Tarna Flake, all support our Year level teams to support our students.

VISITING THE CAMPUS

It is important for us to know who is in the school at any given time so I ask that all visitors report to the General Office and not go directly to other buildings. Our office staff will assist you with your enquiry.  If you need to collect your child early, our office staff will arrange for them to come to you in the General Office foyer.
