Code Camp

Once again, we are hosting a school holiday program called Code Camp, where your child can build their very own 3D adventure game or create animated movies! The camp will run from Thursday 13th January to Friday 14th January 2022 in the d’Helin Building at Junior School.

Code Camp have already taught more than 50,000 students in Australia in years 2-7, teaching them important skills such as computational thinking, logic, creativity, user experience, app development and game building in a fun and engaging way.

The Camps Explained

Blast 3D

For kids who loved coding with their favourite characters in Spark and Ignite, get ready for unbelievable excitement when they see them come to life at Blast 3D! This pure JavaScript camp is perfect for kids aged 8-13 who are looking to improve their skills and build an awesome 3D adventure game.

Animation Camp

Animation Camp is the exciting intersection between storytelling, art and technology! Kids aged 7-12 years will create their own movies with clay and LEGO using stop-motion animation, the process of taking multiple images of objects and stitching them together to look like they’re moving. It’s an incredibly fun and creative way to tell a story!
