Whittlesea Tech School Maker Faire

Student Ambassadors

In mid-November, our Student Ambassadors were back at the Whittlesea Tech School to execute their ‘hands-on’ experiments and activities, to engage and entertain the visiting Grade 3 and 4 students on site for the Annual Whittlesea Tech School Maker Faire. 

They worked hard on their explanations of the related Science concepts on their chosen STEM activities, which included Making Oobleck (non-Newtonian fluids); the Vinegar Volcano (acid-base neutralisation and endothermic reactions); making LED circuits with Origami Monsters (simple electric circuits) and Kinetic Sand (viscoelasticity and applied force). 

Congratulations to Joshua (7A), Chloe (7B), Ash (8A), Scarlett (7B), Charlie (8A) and Uvisha (10B) for proudly representing Lalor North Secondary College in the 2022 Student Ambassador Program.
