Literacy and EAL

Term 4 is a busy time for our school and teachers.

As we wind down to the end of the year the teachers are busy assessing students in reading and writing.  After school the teachers meet to discuss assessment tasks within their communities across communities and as a whole school.  All of this is in preparation for fair and equitable reporting.

Meanwhile new books and independent reading texts have been purchased.  These should arrive in rooms shortly.

Please ask your child how they have been using these new resources in their community.
