The Aussie Backyard Bird Count - 17 - 23 October 2022

Taking part in the Aussie Backyard Bird Count is easy! Just spend 20 minutes in your favourite outdoor space and tell us about the birds you see during that period. A perfect activity while we are at home. The data that you collect will make a valuable contribution to the annual survey of Australian birdlife. Every count helps!

The easiest way to participate is to grab the ‘Aussie Bird Count’ app from your app store. It is easy to use and has some great tools to help you identify birds (even if you are a beginner). If you are new you can download it now and become familiar with the app before the count starts. You can also submit web surveys or get more information from https://aussiebirdcount.org.au
