Lockdown Highlights

I hope you and your loved ones are all keeping well and looking after yourselves through these crazy iso times.  The last few weeks I’m sure have been pretty challenging for all of us, navigating a new way of life spanning across work, school, home-life and our social calendars. I don’t know about you guys, but I miss having my winter bod being taken care of, and seeing everyone’s faces more than I would normally see my family’s...but never fear! We have a plan.

This plan consists of a few different initiatives that aim to keep us all motivated and connected over the next few months. We encourage you to be as engaged and active as possible, as we have a pretty unique and amazing community right here, so let’s lean in!

 

Introducing… TEM WOMEN TAKE ISO

 

Weekly Challenge - as a way of bringing a little bit of healthy competition back into our lives, we will be running a weekly skill challenge 🏑

Each Wednesday a new skill video will be posted to the womens facebook group.  You then have until Sunday of that week to upload your entry video, with the overall winner of the comp being in the draw for some sick prizes... word on the street is that Philip Kennedy will shout the winner a life time’s supply of Linda’s jelly shots* - huge. Jordi will be sharing more details very soon so keep your eyes peeled...

*cannot confirm nor deny that this is fact but peer pressure is a beautiful thing.

Virtual Social Calendar - while we can’t meet down at our beloved clubhouse, we CAN catch up virtually. Over the coming months we will be hosting events and catch ups via various online platforms to keep in touch. More details to come, but think VTNL (Virtual Tuesday Night Live), Trivia Nights and more... please reach out if you have any ideas or would like to help organise!

 

Strength with Bhagwan Brodie - every Monday at 5:30pm our very own Bhagwan Brodie will be running our fave strength circuit via zoom - meeting details to be posted each week. Come warm, and we can #getitdone together!

 

Development DNMs - while we aren’t playing hockey, there’s never been a better time to seek feedback so we can be ready and raring to go for when we can jump back on the pitch! Darci will be posting more info on the feedback seeking process in the coming days, and we encourage you to take on this opportunity.

 

Run 5 / Donate 5 / Nominate 5

You may have seen this in support of the incredible people across the world doing such a great job keeping us safe and providing support where it matters.  TEM Women are all over it, just check out the selfies and stories on Facebook!  Once nominated, here’s what you have to do...
