Environment and Sustainability Team

The Environmental & Sustainability Team would like to thank all staff and students for stepping up, to clean up our school last Friday. We collected a lot more rubbish than we expected. You would agree that the school looks great and we all get the benefits of a cleaner and greener environment to play in.

With the rubbish that was collected on Friday, the team will complete a report regarding our results of recyclable and landfill rubbish. All the information from our report, along with all the other schools and community groups across Australia is collected. All this data is used to work out how much rubbish was collected and recycled. This information is then published and shared with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).

We will be having a regular clean up of our school every second Friday on assembly weeks.
