INFLATABLE A HIT AS MCKENZIE SMASHES RECORDS

KSC started the House Swimming sports off in different fashion with the local lifeguards putting up the inflatable. This was a popular treat for our students and participation higher than previous years. The action continued all day, amazing dress ups led by our senior students and the whole entire school participating in the poolside dance off. The novelty events were a hit with students, teachers and parents. Bonus points were awarded for teachers participated for the house in the novelty events. Ms Dauphin led the way getting in for Whitelaw fully dressed and was quickly supported by other Whitelaw teachers Ms Coleman, Mr Smith and despite never learning to swim, Ms Pinya participation too. The other houses and their house teachers also actively participation with many numbers in the pool. To top this off extra points were given to any house that could get a parent to join in also. Even though Mr Churchill was hoping to earn double points, it wasn’t allowed, so Mrs Churchill hopped in to help out Strezlecki.

As well as all the fun, we had student Sophie McKenzie break records left right and centre.
