NEW STAFF AT KSC

Jake Joyce

I’m teaching in the tech classrooms, providing an opportunity for students to explore student’s practical life skill as we design, build, create and construct a range of different projects. I’m only fresh to teaching but I’m super passionate about providing students with skills they are able to use outside of school. I have a range of experiences in a variety of trades, and look forward to working with students to create something extraordinary. Other interests of mine include spending time with family and friends and just about anything outdoors, hiking, fishing, camping, rafting, sporting endeavours, even gardening mostly anything outside. I look forward to spending more time working alongside the fantastic team at Korumburra SC.

Laura Gibb

Laura Gibb is at KSC teaching English, VCAL literacy, and art. She appreciates how KSC has welcomed her, and the sense of humour of its staff and students. Laura has worked in a fruit processing factory and an office, as well as in music teaching, journalism and publishing. In her free time she plays piano, cello and viola da gamba.

Chuong Ly

I’m a first year teacher and at Korumburra Secondary College and I teach Mathematics. I’m a flexible person and as a result I can work with diverse people.

I am enjoying both the students and staff.

Lynne Hampson

My role at KSC is teacher of Maths and VCAL Numeracy. I just returned to teaching after quite a few years away – the use of technology in the classroom has increased hugely in that time!

So far I’ve enjoyed getting to know the students in my classes – their friendliness and good manners make it a really pleasant experience.

Maureen Campisi

My role at KSC is as education support. I love cooking and spending time in the garden.

Raymon Boulter

I have been teaching since 2001. In that time I have been fortunate enough to have taught at Fairhills High School, Mt Eliza Secondary, McClelland Secondary and also in London at Hendon High. My main areas of teaching include Outdoor Education and Physical Education. I am an outdoors type of person and spend both my working life and personal life in the outdoors as much as possible. My favourite past time is snowboarding which I have been able to do in seven different countries thus far. I am looking forward to integrating into the Korumburra community so please come and say hi.

Tanya Nelson

I recently joined the KSC team as the Headstart Co-ordinator.  My role is to link students and employers for school based apprenticeship opportunities.  We already have 2 students in the program who are doing some great stuff and a couple more on the way.

The staff and students have made me feel very welcome and I really enjoy the days I am there. Especially when there is cake in the staffroom!
