Changes to Travel Arrangements

Thank you to our parents for contacting the school regarding their child's alternative bus arrangements. Parents may call the school directly, contact their child's teacher or provide a written note to be submitted to the office when students travel arrangements have changed. This increased communication with the school regarding travel arrangements has really helped our transition from the classroom onto the buses and down to Swan Hill College. 

Bus Passes

Just a reminder that students wishing to obtain a bus pass to travel on a bus that they are not registered to travel on, must have their parents come into school to organise and sign the official documentation. Students are only allowed to travel on the school bus with a bus pass for care purposes only. 

Please note that the Bus Application Form States:

“Do not change to one that will take you to a sports or social event”

The current College has a Bus Policy, that states (on Page 4 & 5):

                Bus Passes “are only given in extenuating circumstances.  (An example is if the child’s parents are away from home and consequently the child is staying at a friend’s or relative’s home)”

“Passes will not be given to students for recreational purposes such as birthday parties or sporting activities.”
