Meet Our Staff

Natalie Faulkner

English Teacher

Natalie has been teaching English at Nossal since 2018, memorably teaching 4 year 11 English classes across all 3 VCE subjects in that first year. Currently, she's enjoying teaching the poetry of Emily Dickinson and David Malouf's Ransom in year 12 classes. She loves Nossal High School for the warmth, intelligence and professionalism of colleagues and the curiousity and zest of the students. Prior to becoming a teacher, Natalie worked for Jetstar in Customer Relationships and Corporate Communications, whilst writing and directing for the stage and screen. Once upon a time, she lived in London working as an arts administrator and script editor, travelling the world and going to the theatre a lot. Now she lives in the Dandenong Ranges and has two small children instead - the view is outstanding and entertainment free.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Drama) and a Masters degree in Playwrighting.

She loves helping students create deeper understandings of scientific principles and more importantly, of themselves. Marion is currently working in the role of Year 11 Leader and thoroughly enjoying working with students to help them build their career skills through Mock interviews, and what is really important to the Class of 2023... the Year 11 Ball and their varsity jackets for next year.
