We met again on Wednesday although this time it was via Zoom. The committee is discussing what we can spend fundraising funds on around the school, with some great ideas being discussed. We hope to run a survey with the families to see what you would like to see done with the funds, like we did with the new playground 2 years ago. So watch this space for more details soon.
Social/School Events
The first coffee catch up was held last Wednesday at the Garden Café. These small gatherings of parents are a great way for us to meet each other and catch up over a coffee.
Ladies night is on next Friday 12th March at 7:00pm. RSVP link is in PAM (Parent Access Module) or via the link RSVP Laides , see add below. Men’s Night is on Friday 26th March at 7:00pm at the Shepparton Brewery, the RSVP for that will be on PAM soon.
Fundraising
Easter Raffle donations begin from Tuesday. Please bring in an Easter Egg or gift to the office to be used in the raffle. Our children really love this raffle and it can only happen with the help of our school community. Raffle books will go home in two weeks, with tickets $1 each.
During the school holidays on the middle weekend, Sunday 11th April, we are looking for helpers to man stations at the Triathlon. We need around 28 people doing shifts starting from 5am through to the end of the day. A form will be published from the office for volunteers to complete if they would like to help. This is a great fundraiser for us as a school and we always get great feedback from the organisers about our contribution. Please respond on the online form RSVP Triathlon if you can help. We will also need a Co co-ordinator to help Sharlene to bring this together, so if that sounds like something you would like to do, please contact Sharlene Putman 0419 155 929
Pastoral Care
We are looking for Pastoral Care Delegates. If you would like to assist please contact Matt or the Office. The Pastoral Care Delegates are there to help families if needed, whether it is making a meal or helping with school events. It is a great way to meet people within the school community.
If you or a family you know need any help please let us know. We can organise a meal or two, or just even a likeminded parent to talk to if you need.
As always the community group is looking for parents/grandparents who are interested in helping out throughout the year or joining the community group. If you would like more information please feel free to contact the school or Matt on 0417 590 564.
