Somers Camp

On Tuesday 16th March, 21 Year 5 and 6 Greenvale students as well as Mr Magafas and Mrs Lalor departed for Somers School Camp for 9 days. Somers School Camp is a camp run by the Department of Education that offers Year 5 and 6 students a chance to attend every two years. The Greenvale Primary students are joined by 140 other students from schools within the Hume Region, including Craigieburn and Sunbury.

The students are having a great time so far, learning to surf, riding bikes, making new friends and looking after animals just to name some of the activities. Later this week, they will be learning to rock climb, perform in a drama concert and going on the challenge swing.
