Interact Club

Term One of this year saw the founding of the McClelland College Interact Club, which is proudly supported by the Rotary Club of Frankston North.

For the Club’s first project of the year, members voted to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation, who are committed to finding a cure for blood cancer. To do so, there was a Free Dress Day on the last day of term for which students are encouraged to bring a gold coin donation. There were also a number of other fundraising activities occurring on the day including:

·         An Easter Hamper Raffle, with tickets being sold for $2 each at the General Office. Winners included…

  • Mrs Nic McRae, who very generously re-donated her prize which was then won by the Trott family.
  • Ms Adams, Taylah Corkery and Amelie Nickels rounded out the winners

·         An Easter Egg Eating Competition between staff and students that was won by….

  • Tyson Trinca from Year 12

·       Both  Mr Joy and Yr 11 student Dylan Moore also bravely had both their heads and beard shaved in the GYM at lunchtime in front of a massive crowd of over 500 students. Dylan's parents generously donated $50 for him to go through with it!
