Sports News Term 2

Before school jogging has had over 140 participants this year which is amazing. We will continue with jogging until Tuesday May 16th which is the week of the District Cross Country. Certificates will be handed out for laps completed.

St John’s recently competed in the Bayside District Athletics day. It was a fantastic day with more than 60 students attending. Congratulations to everyone who competed or tried out for events.

Thankyou to everyone involved with this year's School Sports. It was great to see everyone having so much fun. Congratulations to Walsh House on their win and to all teams for their positive ‘Have a go” attitude.

Major Events

May 3rd- Field events at Ballam Park. (gr4-6 who are selected)

May 5th- St John’s v St Augustine’s at home. (All gr 5-6)

May 12th- St John’s v Frankston Primary- Away. (All gr 5-6)

May 19th- District Cross Country at Woodleigh Senior Campus. (Gr 3. 4. 5. 6- who are selected)

May 26th- St John’s v Frankston East Primary- both venues

(All gr 5-6)

June 2nd- St John's v Bayside CC. Away. (All gr 5-6)

Lightning Premiership- Wednesday June 7th. (All gr 5-6)
