In L2L classes, students learnt ways to help everyone feel like they belong and how to use the Wellington Ways to Wellbeing to improve their mental health. Students mixed with other year levels and played some team-building games to connect. They also contributed words to the Chalk Art created around the canteen by answering the question “What are your favourite qualities in people?”
Earlier in the week, House Captains organised Zorb ball poison ball on the oval and Year 7 & 8 Student Leaders ran a Trivia competition.
Our Harmony Day Casual Dress Day raised money for www.stateschoolsrelief.org.au
The student leadership team have started a gratitude post survey link that can be accessed in the Compass newsfeed at anytime. Students are encouraged to post a gratitude to someone who has done or said something that they are grateful for. The Year Level leaders will distribute the gratitude posts on a regularly basis, and this is all part of the Wellington Ways to Wellbeing - Connect and Help Others.
