Delights from the Kitchen Arts of Years 9,10 and 11

This week Year 9/10 Pâtissier Class learnt how to make profiteroles.

Students learnt how to read a thermometer,  how to use a piping bag and how to melt chocolate over a bain-marie- So many firsts! Such a delicious end product.

This term Year 11 students have completed a range of practical activities, that reflect the use of ingredients indigenous to Australia and/or ingredients introduced through migration. 

This week Year 11's responded to a Design Brief: To design a dip that reflects a migrant group in Australia.  

Students thoroughly enjoyed making their dips which represented many different migrant groups in Australia. They were all very proud of themselves with their end product. As well as making Indigenous Cheese straws as an accompaniment.
