Make Your Own Music

Jessika, Nova and Marleen have been know to "sing their own special song."

At Lalor North Secondary College we provide opportunities for students at all year levels to learn an instrument such as acoustic or electric guitar, singing, drums, base guitar,  keyboard, brass & woodwind instruments, such as saxophone , flute, clarinet and trumpet We also have an outstanding vocal teacher who comes with a professional performance background.

Throughout the year they have many opportunities for performances and practice. The students are encouraged and guided to preform at events such as our 'Big Night Out.'

Whether Jessika is playing or singings she hits the right note. At Lalor North we also run VCE VET Music: Years 11 & 12(Certificate III in Music) In this subject students learn songs and apply instrument playing skills in a group performance.

They also learn song writing, music genres and get the opportunity to record a CD in our studio. It is preferable that students can sing or play an instrument but beginners who are committed to seriously learning an instrument can also choose this subject.
