Assistant Principal Curriculum and Instruction

I hope everyone had a restful Easter break and fun Term 1 school holiday! This term, I am excited to begin the role as Assistant Principal Curriculum and Instruction.

The role of the APC&I is to work collaboratively with teachers and the school executive to implement literacy and numeracy teaching and assessment practices for improved student learning outcomes. Over the coming weeks, I am looking forward to getting into classrooms again after five terms and sharing the fantastic teaching and learning that happens every day at Oak Flats Public School.

Over the past two weeks, our students have been working hard to complete Progressive Achievement Tests in literacy and numeracy. The assessment results will provide a great source of data to help pinpoint teaching activities to meet the needs of each individual student from K-6.
