Mid-South Legends Rugby League Gala Day

Over 50 students from Stage 2 and Stage 3 travelled to Cec Glenholmes Oval to play Rugby League and League Tag against other schools at the Mid-South Paul McGregor and Rod Wishart Gala Day!

It was an exciting occasion for Oak Flats Public School as we got to try out our brand new sporting jerseys! With our students looking fantastic, they were able to play fantastic too! All teams played with great skill, respect and pride. The students cannot wait to wear them again!

Oak Flats Public School would like to thank Alysha Janssen from the NRL and Warilla Gorillas JRLFC for a wonderful day out playing the great game! 

OFPS Annual Cross Country Day

What an incredible day it was at OFPS Cross Country Carnival. Not only did we see great dedication, motivation and perspiration but also positivity, encouragement and friendship. Congratulations to all our students, participants and place getters. It was lovely to see so many families at the our carnival cheering on the students. The Mid South District Cross Country will be on Friday, 5 May at Blackbutt Reserve. We wish all our competitors the very best. A special shout out to all the staff members who were up bright and early setting up the cross country course. 

Congratulations to Bentley B who traveled to Batemans Bay on Friday, 28 April to trial for the South Coast 11's Rugby League team. Bentley showed his dedication, skills and sportsmanship and was selected as part of the 11's SCSSA Rugby League team. We wish him all the best when he participates at the MSWPSSA Championships on Tuesday, 6 to Thursday 8, June in Liverpool.
