Uniform orders are filled on Tuesdays.

Completed order forms need to be at the school office by Friday for orders to be filled and delivered to your child by Tuesday.

Lunch orders are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Please enclose the correct money.

The Japanese Word of the Fortnight

かんぺき　(pronounced ‘kanpeki’) which means ‘perfect’ is the Japanese Word for the last week of Term 1 and Week 1 of Term 2.

You can use ‘かんぺき’ (‘kanpeki’) instead of ‘perfect’ when you see something done extremely well or when you are feeling perfect.

WASTE FREE WEDNESDAY

The winners for Waste Free Wednesday winner for the last week of term 1 is Audrey from 2A. This weeks winner is Zoe from 4C.

CAMPS SPORTS AND EXCURSION FUND

If you are new to Valkstone Primary School (or an existing family with a new sibling starting at Valkstone) and you are the holder of a Health Care Card, you may be eligible for CSEF.

This is an annual payment, payable to the school, to be used towards camps, sports or excursion costs for eligible students.

Card holders with new Prep students are also eligible for some school uniform. Please bring your Health Care Card to the office and complete an eligibility form.

Tours of McKinnon Secondary School will take place on the following dates:

Tours run from 9-00-10:00 a.m.

Tours will be taking place at the Main Campus on McKinnon Rd.

Bookings are essential so please call 8520 9000 during school hours to reserve a place.
