SATURDAY YOUTH POTTERY 13+

This class is designed for students 13 years and older, who want to develop their creative skills further and create a strong folio for their future artistic practice. Spend an enjoyable morning each week in our clay studio creating ceramic masterpieces. Learn basic hand-building techniques including shaping, squeezing, pushing, pulling, rolling, and pinching to express your creativity with your hands. Clay and equipment included.

Explore the process of mark-making and the construction of an image through printmaking techniques including mono-types, lino-cut, collagraphs, and etching onto plastic. Students will learn how to create depth, atmosphere, layering, tone, and value within the printmaking medium as well as in their own practice. Under the guidance of an expert tutor, students will learn new techniques and apply them to their own projects.
