Our Amazing Free Boppers

Last Friday evening, The Ballarat High Free Boppers played an hour set at the City of Ballarat's Boom Box Concert series staged in Alfred Deakin Place in central Ballarat.

The Free Boppers comprised Alannah Hebbard, Hudson Steel, Jasper Meehan and Bryn Hills with musical support from professional musicians Sam Boon (BHS Alumnus) and James Thompson.

Sam is the curator of "The Shape of Jazz to Come" which is part of the Boom Box series and showcases improvisation and spontaneous music making.

Many thanks to Sam and all of the organisers who provided such a wonderful opportunity for our students, who performed magnificently.
