Amazing Maths & Sensational Science

Maths has seen students develop their proficiency with Integers as well as Fractions, Decimals & Percentages. Games are a way for students to apply their new knowledge and skills and further develop fluency. We are lucky to have access to a wide range of resources designed specifically to engage students in Mathematics.

Did you know: 4% of 75 is equal to 75% of 4. The quantity and percentage can be swapped, often making calculations easier. 

Recently in Science, Year 8s have been learning about Body Systems. The heart dissection is always a highlight, allowing students to locate the 4 chambers of the heart and see how the thickness of the muscular wall is different on each side of the heart.
