Term 2 PFA Events

With Thanks

... to St Brigid’s families and friends, 42 Easter raffle prizes were drawn on 31st March and we raised just over $2000!! In addition, the Tesselaar Bulb Fundraiser raised almost $1000 for our school. A wonderful outcome and a sincere thank you to PFA members, helpers and all fundraiser contributors.

With all fundraising activities so far, our school community has raised almost $3,500!

Seeking PFA Operational Team Members

Whilst our long-term members will continue to support PFA, they are stepping back and ready to guide new leaders and contributors. Now is a really great time to gain knowledge and understanding without taking on a big responsibility. We are looking for organisers, communicators and planners as well as someone to take on treasury (simple reporting and monitoring that can be done after hours).  Please consider joining us at a meeting without the obligation (we promise). If you would like to chat, please call Jess on 0421 415 485.

Mother’s Day Stall 

Class by class, students are ushered to the PFA stall to select their $5 gift. Students may also use this time to purchase a gift for a second parent/guardian ($5 per gift). We will record sibling gifts to avoid double ups. Please advise the class teacher if your child/children will not be participating as we cannot assume or encourage IOUs. 

Grandparent gifts will also be on offer. All students that have their additional $5 for their grandparents/special persons will be called after all classes have purchased for parents / second parents / guardians.

Fund Allocations – seeking trade support

With the success of Term 1 fundraising, we can confirm a minimum $8,000 to put back into our school for our students to benefit. Following school community suggestions, we will be purchasing a school branded marquee (possibly 2), soccer goals and addressing the bike shed and veggie patch area – particularly protection/coverage. This will be managed in consultation with our school council, staff and student reps. We will be conducting a walk through to assess the space and options however...
