Star Athletes

A special congratulations to Ngapia H who has been selected in the Werrington Zone Volleyball team, Werrington Zone Touch Football team, and the Werrington Zone Netball team. Ngapia attended the Sydney West Volleyball Gala Day and was selected in the Sydney West Volleyball Team. Excellent work Ngapia and good luck with your future gala days!  

Knockout Team Success

Congratulations to the girls' Knockout Volleyball team and their coach Miss Tonks on making it to round 3 of the Steve Birt Memorial Shield. The girls have successfully won against Penrith High School and Katoomba High School. Our girls’ team will play Glenmore Park in round 3, good luck ladies! 

Sydney West Representatives

Congratulations Ngapia Hand Doris L on being selected for the Sydney West Volleyball team. Well done girls and good luck at your future gala days. 

Werrington Zone Netball 

Congratulations to the Open Girls Netball team on their amazing performance at the Werrington Zone Netball Gala Day. Your coach, Miss Rankmore was extremely proud of your efforts and enjoyed the excellent teamwork displayed on the day. The girls finished second on the day with 4 girls making the Werrington Zone Team. Good luck with your future competitions!  Good luck at the Sydney West Carnival. 

Werrington Zone Swimming Carnival 

Well done to the students who attended the Werrington Zone Swimming Carnival on Thursday 4th March. Student participation was high and our swimmers performed really well on the day. Kingswood High School came 3rd overall with our under 16 boys relay team coming first and heading to the Sydney West Carnival.  Good luck at the Sydney West Carnival! 

Further congratulations to Michayla who broke a record at the Werrington Zone Swimming carnival. Michayla swam 45.35 in the 12-15 50m Freestyle Multi-Class event. Excellent work Michayla!

Werrington Zone Touch Football 

The open boys and girls team attended the Werrington Zone Gala Day on Monday 8th March. Both teams performed well coming away with a few wins. The girls displayed great teamwork and the boys performed some good plays.  Good luck at the Sydney West Gala Day. 

Werrington Zone Boys Soccer 

Well done to the boys who represented Kingswood High School at the Werrington Zone Soccer Gala Day. Congratulations Hazeem A, Ethan M and Luke A on their selection in the Werrington Zone Soccer team. Good luck at the Sydney West Gala day! 

Year 7-10 Integrated Sport

Every week Kingswood High School students participate in Integrated Sport and are rewarded with player’s points in three categories for their outstanding participation. Students can receive MVP points, which are for students who demonstrate great athletic ability and an improvement in their skills. Dedication sport points are for students who are an asset to their team and to sport in general. They may help with equipment, set up, or be a dedicated team player who demonstrates sportsmanship. As well, students may receive peer-nominated points, whereby students nominate their peers who have demonstrated good sportsmanship and have been positive team members to participate with.

We would like to congratulate the following students who have been outstanding in Integrated Sport over the last fortnight.
