National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence

In Week 8 of Term 1, Kingswood High participated in Bullying. No Way! Initiative to stand together against bullying and violence.

Each morning students watched videos and had groups discussions about bullying:

• What is Bullying
• Do we show respect online?
• What is resilience?
• Be an upstander, not a bystander!

These were followed by the National day of Action against bullying and violence on Friday 19th March 2021. This is a day for schools, students and the community to say Bullying. No Way!

Students participated in classroom activities that highlighted the main issues around bullying in schools and learned mature and responsible approaches to deal with and stand up to bullying.
