FAQ - Uniforms and Fees

Library Days

Every week, your child has the opportunity to borrow a Library book from the school. Green Team borrows from Curiosity with Blue and Orange Teams visiting the school Library. 

 

Please refer to the day that your child is scheduled to borrow.  A tag on your child's bag will assist as a reminder each week.  Bags can be collected from the entry couches at the end of each day.

Uniforms

With the cooler weather on its way it is important to think through your child's uniform.

 

A few reminders:

  1. All items of clothing additional to our uniform must be navy blue.  This includes long sleeve tops that are placed under the t'shirt, beanies, hair accessories, rain jackets.
  2. Compulsory GSLS issued items:   polo top, jumper, hat, library bag and school bag.
  3. Socks can be white or navy.
  4. Shoes must have enclosed toes and support the ankle.  No specific colour required.
  5. Gumboots can be stored at the Centre if you would like your child to have their own.

Fees

Fees are invoiced fortnightly once the CCS has been applied to your account.  Mrs Erin Copeland is your point of contact for any inquiries:  erin.copeland@gspv.sa.edu.au

 

Accounts are charged if your child does not attend, unless two week's notice has been given in writing to the Director, Jacqui Gliddon.

 

If your child is normally booked in for a day that falls on a Public Holiday, accounts are still charged with CCS applied.  Two week's notice does not apply to this case.

 

Families have the option of nominating their child's attendance during the school Holidays.  Families may opt out of our care with no charge, decrease or increase their child's attendance based on their needs.

 

Accounts are not charged for Centre Closure Days.   Six weeks notice is given in writing to families when closure days are planned.  

 

For each financial year, families can receive CCS for up to 42 days.  Once this allocation has been met the CCS will not be applied unless a sick or carers certificate has been presented within that fee period.
