Families In Action - Building Blocks

Part of our philosophy statement of Curiosity is built around partnership and the participation of families within our learning community.  

This year we have observed many of our children across all learning teams have a keen eye for construction and design.  We would like to further resource this line of play inquiry by increasing our block supply.  Today, our children have been putting to action their thinking around how the environment could allow them to have more space to work on their building and architecture.  

If you or anyone that you know has any off cuts of builders framing wood that could be repurposed and turned into blocks for our children we would be greatly appreciative. 

Ideally, we would love a few parents to support in the sanding and building of these blocks for our children to use, so if you are interested in helping with this project, please contact Jacqui (Director).
