P2T is an online series of events, culminating in a virtual opportunity to connect with TAFE and university disability practitioners. This project is aimed at improving the transition of students with disability from secondary school into tertiary education.

Welcome to ‘Pathways to Tertiary Content Hub

Do you want to learn about the different pathways into tertiary education available?

Hear directly from University and TAFE staff, NDCOs, and other industry experts to help you develop your knowledge and skills for a smoother transition into tertiary education.

 

Learn how to disclose your disability, seek out available supports and negotiate reasonable adjustments through specially designed sessions for students, parents/guardians and educators.

 

Join the P2T series comprising of online Q & A sessions, resources and live events.

Pathways to Tertiary is an online series, open to all secondary education students who have access requirements due to disability and/or chronic health condition. The aim of Pathways to Tertiary is to provide students with information on the various pathways and available supports to assist with a successful transition from secondary education into tertiary education. There are also specifically tailored sessions for parents/guardians, carers and educators.

Careers News 

VCE and Careers Expo Excursion

The year 12 students had a fantastic day attending the annual VCE and Careers Expo at the Caulfield Racecourse on Thursday 29th April. Students and teachers travelled by train from Frankston station to Caulfield. The venue had strict COVID-safe measures while hosting all the usual Universities, TAFEs and Employer stalls to assist students to plan their post-school journey.

 

    

Monash TEAM Mentoring

On Wednesday 28th April, nine Mount Erin students had their first meeting with their Monash TEAM Mentors. This is a new program introduced by Monash University for year 10. Mount Erin is a Schools Access Monash SAM School and takes part in Monash activities from years 7 to 12.

 

Year 9 Monash Careers excursion

On Monday 31st May, Year 9 students will be attending Monash University, Peninsula campus for a talk about University and a tour of the campus. This event is called “Choose your own Adventure” and is part of the Schools Access Monash program. Stay tuned for more information on Compass.
