Market Day

The Business Management students put on a big event this week as part of their coursework.

Students formed groups and created their own business plan for a competitive market stall for the special one-day lunchtime pop-up.

The crowds showed up quickly, and within the first few minutes of lunch it was a bustling marketplace.

There was a huge variety of delicious goods, including cakepops, sweet treats, savoury delights, and even bubble tea!

Congratulations to our Business Management students on a successful Market Day!

Grow, Cook, Eat!

The Grow, Cook, Eat! gardens have been growing quickly and are now ready for the picking! Students have been working hard to cultivate the fruits, vegetables, and herbs and can now enjoy the rewards of their fresh produce.

Mothers Day Marketplace

Do you need help finding a present for Mother's Day? Next week the Enhance Business students will be hosting an online marketplace through Teams, and it will be full of great gift ideas for your mum! In groups, students have created business names, logos, and plans for selling their stock to all staff and students who are looking for that special gift. There is a variety of products including candles, jewellery, and synthetic flowers, so keep an eye out for the invitation on Teams.

Senior VCAL Project

Over the next term the year 12 VCAL students are having the opportunity to work with the River Gum Primary School students in order to meet our outcomes for Personal Development Skills. Throughout our project we will be improving our communication, team work and leadership skills.

In our first visit to the primary school we had the great opportunity to meet some of the kids that we will be working with throughout the year. Myself and Mithu had come up with some great ice breaker activities such as this or that, two truths and one lie, and the final and best game Among Us, which they will be doing on Monday the 3rd of May along with Alanah Clare and Jaycee Nicholas. We also covered in our first time with them different types of social, environmental and cultural issues in our local area of Hampton Park.

Looking forward to keeping you all updated with what we have going on in VCAL for the year 12s in 2021.
