Library and Information Week 2021

This month we celebrated Library & Information week in the Library. This year's theme was Adventures in Space and Time.

Students were given the opportunity to enter our Short Story Writing or Bookmark Design competitions. New books prizes will be given to the best short story and best bookmark design.

Study Hall

A reminder that the Library is open afterschool until 5pm for students to complete school work; access computers and library resources; and support from the library team. Students need to sign in at the Library when attending Study Hall.

Premiers' Reading Challenge

The Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge is now open and Kurunjang Secondary College is excited to be participating.

The Challenge is open to all Victorian children from birth to Year 10 in recognition of the importance of reading for literacy development. It is not a competition, but a personal challenge for our students to read a set number of books by 17 September 2021.

Students in Years 7 - 10 are challenged to read 15 books. 

All students who meet the Challenge will receive a certificate of achievement signed by the Victorian Premier and former Premiers. 

Additional prizes and awards will be given to our top PRC students for 2021.
