SCHOOL NEWS

Beginning at the start of term two, the 3:15pm finish on Mondays will change to a Friday afternoon. The 3:15 finish used to coincide with assembly and this shift will ensure that it matches again. It will also give another 15 minutes of learning time earlier in the week which can and will be well utilized.

TOILET SAFETY

An ongoing issue has been occurring in our school in relation to the appropriate use of the toilets.  Our staff have on several occasions had to have discussions with the children about unacceptable behaviour in the toilets including throwing of toilet paper, blocking of drains, standing on toilets and/or toilet paper holders to look over stalls and pumping of hand wash directly onto the ground.  Our cleaning staff do their best to keep our toilets clean for your children, however we ask that you reinforce at home the message relayed by staff at school.

PARENTS & FRIENDS

Term 1 update

It’s was delightful to see so many happy little faces during the sausage sizzle for Star day. Thank you to all the wonderful mums that took some time to help. Also, big thanks to Ben and all the teachers for organising such a fun day for our kids.

Our Subway food day was very successful, raising $740. Big thanks to Melinda Motteram for her time collating 370 orders.

We also had an overwhelming order of 150 packs of Hot Cross buns, which Baker’s Delight will be donating $300 towards our school.

We thank all our families for their continued support. Wishing you all a happy and safe Easter.

Kind regards,

Parents and Friends
