Principal's Report

Report from our Principal: Duncan Arendse

Dear parents, friends and Father Arsenio

I would like to thank all ‘dads’ who attended the first of the Dads nights last Thursday. We had approximately 50 people attending across the night and it was a great opportunity to meet people both old and new. The inaugural “Mums Night’ is currently being planned and notification will be sent shortly.

My thanks are also extended to all who work at our school. To have implemented a successful term one is no small thing in light of the snap lock down and the extra that goes in from the staff is acknowledged.

Our students and their parents are also to be congratulated. On the whole the term has run smoothly and the strong demand for places in 2022 is on the back of the reputation we hold in the community. WE can all be rightly proud to be members of our school.

We are working diligently to get parents on site again as soon as possible. The ‘Code of Conduct’ document sent via Operoo is the first step in this process. I am waiting on an update to the operating guidelines issued by the Catholic Education Office which then enables further steps to be taken. I would hope to be able to outline the steps early in the new term.

Once again, my thanks to Father, Marianne and our 3/4 teachers who enabled Reconciliation to be celebrated this term. All ceremonies were appropriately run and well attended by parents. This is the perfect lead into the Easter celebrations and please feel free to have students attend over the next few days as well.

Wishing you all a safe, happy and holy Easter

Have a great week

Duncan
