BNWPS Annual Meeting - considerations from 2020 and looking ahead at 2021

Thursday 29th April 7-9pm (online)

Something we learned during 2020 was the value in having an online Annual Meeting, we had the best attendance we had ever had at an Annual meeting. Transparency, accountability and rigorous discussion all make our school stronger so please log in and be part of the conversations. If you have questions for school council or the sub-committees we'd love to ensure as many as possible are covered in the presentations so send an email priori to the meeting and we will endeavour to allocate time during the meeting.

In the past the meeting has focussed on the previous year. While we will be again undertaking the legal requirements of presenting the financial and school performance data, we will also be looking towards 2021. During the meeting each sub-committee will be talking about their plans for 2021 giving you an opportunity to decide how you want to be involved. CET in particular will be giving participants a chance to set the tone for some 2021 events. 2021 Trivia night theme voting and questions such as Is there something in particular you love and would hate to lose from Winter Magic Market? Having a say has never been easier, just come along to the meeting.

School Review Public Meeting - set the tone for the next four years

Wednesday 28th April 2.45 - 3.30pm

This is a great opportunity to have a say about the schools priorities for the next four years. A school review is an honest assessment of the strength and weaknesses of the school. Without focusing exclusively on the challenges of 2020 the school review is a great opportunity for parents to engage in setting the goals for the schools next four years. With the large investment being made in school buildings and facilities now is the time to discuss what else we want the school to focus on for our children's academic progress and overall wellbeing.

There will be opportunities for parents who cannot attend to provide feedback into the review, but we would love to see engagement from across the school community. Whether your kids have just started, are in the middle of their primary school journey or are nearly at the end you all have a valuable contribution to make. Please come and be part of the conversations.
